How to Unlock Bootloader on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Easily
If you own an Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and want to customize it beyond the official software, you will need to unlock the bootloader first. The bootloader is a program that runs on your device when you power it on and allows you to load different operating systems. By default, the bootloader is locked by the manufacturer to prevent unauthorized modifications. Prerequisites
An Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 with at least 50% battery charge.

Download and install Android Platform Tools on your PC.
Download and extract unlock.rar file on your PC. This file contains the unlock script and the USB drivers for your device.
Enable USB debugging and OEM unlocking on your device. To do this, go to Settings > About phone and tap on Build number seven times until you see a message saying \"You are now a developer\". Then go back to Settings > System > Developer options and enable USB debugging and OEM unlocking.
Steps to Unlock Bootloader on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
Open the folder where you extracted the unlock.rar file and install the USB drivers on your PC.
Power off your device completely.
Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons together until you see the Fastboot Mode screen on your device.
Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
Open the folder where you installed the Android Platform Tools and launch a command prompt window by pressing Shift + Right-click and selecting \"Open PowerShell window here\" or \"Open command window here\".
Type fastboot devices in the command prompt window and press Enter. You should see your device's serial number. If not, make sure you have installed the USB drivers correctly and try again.
Type fastboot oem get_unlock_key in the command prompt window and press Enter. You should see a long string of numbers and letters. This is your unlock key. Copy it somewhere safe.
